SAMUEL LUBICZ
b. 1989, Los Angeles, CASamuel Lubicz is a multimedia artist based in Berlin. His paintings, collages, and films investigate not-so-distant dystopian futures with curious pessimism. His work is rooted in archival techniques, used to collect and manipulate images, audio, and video fragments, examining memories and perceptions relating to our sense of belonging, media nostalgia, and the omnipresence of technology. His practice has been compared to that of a human GAN.
